Carnivore Bacon Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients :

1 lb ground beef (80/20 or your preferred ratio)

8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)

4 large eggs

½ cup heavy cream

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional toppings: pickles, mustard, or extra cheese for serving.

Directions :

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
First things first: preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish with a bit of butter or oil to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Cook the Ground Beef
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until it’s browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease to avoid a soggy pie. Once browned, season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. This layer of seasoning really brings out those delicious cheeseburger flavors.

Step 3: Crisp Up the Bacon
While your beef is cooking, fry up your bacon until it’s crispy. Once done, crumble the bacon into small pieces and set it aside.

Step 4: Layer the Ingredients
Now for the fun part! In your greased pie dish, spread the cooked ground beef evenly. Then, sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the beef, followed by 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. It’s already starting to look amazing, right?

Step 5: Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese. This creamy, cheesy mixture will bind everything together as it bakes, giving you a pie with a rich, custardy texture.

Step 6: Bake to Perfection
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the beef and bacon in the pie dish. Pop it into your preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the eggs are fully set. You’ll know it’s ready when the house fills with the irresistible smell of bacon, beef, and cheese!

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy!
Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing. You can enjoy it as is, but for an extra burst of flavor, top each slice with pickles, mustard, or even more cheese.
