Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza Made with Crescent Rolls

Ingredients :

(Serves 6–8)

For the Pizza Base:

1 (8 oz) tube crescent roll dough

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Topping:

¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional, for extra depth)

For the Glaze:

½ cup (60g) powdered sugar

1–2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions :

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a pizza pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the Crescent Roll Base

Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the prepared pan. Press the seams together to create one large sheet of dough.

Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough.

Step 3: Add the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping

In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar (if using).
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough, covering it generously.

Step 4: Bake the Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the crescent roll base is golden brown and the cinnamon-sugar topping is bubbling slightly.

Step 5: Make the Glaze

While the pizza bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner consistency, if desired.

Step 6: Finish and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the top using a spoon or piping bag.

Slice into wedges or squares and serve warm.

Optional Add-Ons:

Fresh Fruit: Add thin slices of apples or pears before baking for a fruity twist.

Crunchy Topping: Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the glaze for extra texture.

Caramel Drizzle: Add a drizzle of caramel sauce for a decadent finish.
